First post!!!

Buenos noches!!

I am going to post a lot of photos and few captions to go with them. Sorry I has to be brief but it's late I have to be up early!

I don't know if you can see it, but these are the lights of Nuevo York!! At this point I was still excited to be on the plane (ha!)

My first glimpse of España!! I was already thinking I was ready to get off the plane at this point.

My failed attempt at getting a picture of what I think are orange trees... It is winter so orange trees are in full bloom all over Spain.

My cute little bed and table :) a much smaller apartment but it is perfect for me here!

My little bathroom that has bars on the windows even though I am four floors up!! Also I had no hot water the first morning there... So I boiled water to clean with! How's that for quaint? Lucky it works now ;)

It also rained so much the first morning, it sounded like there was a monsoon outside! Which is funny because it is not supposed to rain often in Seville. Luckily I brought and umbrella but sadly no rainboots.

this is my kitchen and my proud spoils from going to the grocery store! I made it through with very little Spanish and being unable to recognize the total by sound...

This is me yesterday being happy about all the things I've done so far! Ha!

These are the hampsters and two squirrels (one of the squirrels bit me so I stay away now). There are two more hampsters that are pregnant so maybe I'll get so see hampsters babies!!!

This is Alejandra :) she's twelve, rides horses and is pretty much just awesome

Well I am going to sign off for the night. Tomorrow I am going to the country with the family to ride horses an learn to drive stick. I'll probably get to post a new blog on Sunday :)

Buenos noches again! Next time I hope to have photos of all the family!
